Eagles Rock Retreat - Carlingford

Day Retreat with Gill and Susan - Sunday 24th March
Immerse yourself in a day of Yoga and Meditation

We are excited to offer another Day Retreat in this beautiful venue in Carlingford
Eagles Rock Retreat Centre is situated in a lush, green valley surrounded by the mystical Cooley Mountains. In just an hours drive from Dublin you can find stillness, taking the opportunity to tune inwards, leaving the to do lists for a while, taking time away from the hustle to reflect on what is important to you. The theme of our retreat is inspired by the upcoming Srping Equinox a time concerned with letting go, shedding what no longer serves us and creating space for new beginnings, for our hearts desires. It encourages us to release physical and emotional tension, making it the perfect inspiration for our practice.

What to Expect:

We arrive early Saturday morning at around 10 am for a warm welcome, herbal tea and chats! We shall then take to our mats at 10:30 am and begin with a guided meditation tuning into our hearts desires and using a mantra as a tool to awaken your force of nature and make new intentions in this Spring evergy. I will then guide you through a fun (with any luck) funky flow practice, raising our energetic vibration through a dynamic practice, firing up the solar plexus and opening our hearts and maybe even playing with some inversions.
After our morning of yoga and meditation we will have a delicious vegan lunch prepared with love and mindfulness. There will be an opportunity to relax in the retreat library connecting with like minded folk. Stuart will then bring us on a guided walking meditation in the beautiful surroundings of the Valley and Cooley Mountains.

We will return to the Yoga Shala and enjoy some tea/coffee and cake.

Susan will then guide you through a Yin practice. The afternoon session will allow us to slow down and to notice where we may be holding tension and allowing that tension to release. The Yin practice targets the deep connective tissues of the body, promoting relaxation and a meditative state of mind. This slower pace allows you to enter a space of introspection and surrender, releasing tension and finding stillness within.

The day culminates in a beautiful sound bath session with a deep relaxing Yoga Nidra

What to bring:

A Yoga Mat, H20, hiking boots and maybe a change of clothes as who knows what way the weather will behave, it is Ireland! Most importantly, a sense of humour so you don't take yourself too seriously xx
Investment: Early Bird €110,
